An artwork, the image of an artwork, the work.

Someone says “you gotta document (photograph) it, otherwise it is as if it wouldn’t have happened”.

We are here in a place where a model is used to demonstrate the qualities of an object. A prototype, a representation that is meant to trigger your curiosity. But what happens when the model takes over its reference?

Our jobs bloom from the dissemination of images – “this is sexy. Looking forward to seeing it IRL”. IRL gets suspended, IRL has nothing left to demonstrate ‘cause you already saw it. Or you didn’t?

Commercial galleries shoot arrows in the form of promoted media surpassing “the touch of the real”. Online sales flow on chat rooms like brown water comes down your local river. Could the denial of interaction look back in anger?

The friends of our friends are our audience. We send you a smell letter in the hope that you will exchange it with someone else and so on and so forth. So that our network smells like citric lavender on IG. How are we creating our digital presence?

Not caring about google my business for sure. In fact we say: google my business! With a finger up, as if insulting.

In order to create our own version of a metaverse, this event is organized at the Modellpark Berlin-Branderburg, a miniature version of Berlin located outside of the ringbanh – as +DEDE current physical space is. You will find models of real and iconic spaces, as high as the veins in your legs. They are real, but only on a surface level. They lack memory, frictionless they are a pure element of observation.

Even though the artists and their works will interact with them. We will interact with them through our movement and surely, through the lens of our smartphones.
